charakusa Glacier (Hushe Valley)
The Charakusa glacier is the most easterly of the five glacier systems, which radiate the northern end of the Hushe valley. Not without justification this area has been the Chamnix of the Karakoram.
This trek is ideally suited to those who like to walk right into the heart of the unspoilt Karakoram. It is not very difficult or strenuous and most of the campsites have shady trees, lush green vegetation and wild flowers with a great chance of observing wild life species. A number of un attempted peaks are there waiting for any challenge. The Cobra peak is one of the most challenging peaks to trekkers in the Karakoram.
This trek offers great opportunities for the young school children and aged trekkers.
